Heat Pump Register Temperature

This is my first all electric Lennox heat pump. I have a 2200 sq ft. home and I bought a 3.5 ton 13 SEER unit and I have a variable speed air handler. The following are the various register temperatures I am experiencing:

When the outside temperature is 42 degrees and I have the thermostat set at 68 degrees and the electric strips are not operating, I am experiencing a register discharge T of 86 degrees. If the electric strips are operating, the discharge T goes up to about 110.

When the outside temperature is about 15 degrees and I have the thermostat set at 67 degrees and the electric strips are not operating, I am experiencing a register discharge T of 75. When the electric strips come on, the register temperature goes up to about 85.

Are these register temperatures what I should expect? If not, what should they be? Any suggestions about what I should do will be appreciated.
