Goodman Furnace AC System, fuse keeps popping

I have a Goodman Furnace/Ac System. The AC was running fine when I left for work, but when I came home house was very hot. The furnace was flashing 6 lights, which according to the manuel it is the roll out limit. Only problem is that the ac systemis electric, heating is gas fired. Manuel said it could also be the fuse, (small auto 3amp fuse) pulled fuse and it was short. I replaced fuse three times and it keeps popping. Any suggestions on what I could do next before I call a tech? Thanks

Ok so I talked to a friend who is an electrican. I replaced the contactor on the condenser unit and now everything works. No need to call in a service tech, saved myself some money.
