sorry im not capable of disconnecting thermo wires in furnace fraid to scrrew it up i had the
transformer changed and heat worked for 3 days then it blew fuse and crapped out ?

I had a shorted out contacter do this once,,,,,,,,,like to never found it,disconnect all the wiring to heat pump,,,low and high voltage see if it continues to blow furnace fuse

It's way too difficult to pin down a price and to honest it would be unfair to both yourself and your service company. I do not like to give out numbers in a forum like this unless it is obvious someone is getting ripped off. In fact, other similar forums do not allow it at all. Bottom line is that we do not know for certain that this is your problem since you are not willing to do what was suggested. It could be something else all together.
