    My furnace blowing cold air.
My weathermaker 8000 will light for a few minutes, then the flames go out and it will blow cold air. If I don't catch it, the temp in the house drops, triggering the thermostat which makes the furnace stay on, but still just blowing cold air. Is there something I can do myself to fix this, or is it best to call a serviceman?
I am on a tight budget, I would like to do it myself, if possible.

Hi Christine and welcome, if your handy you could try cleaning the flame sensor, use fine sand paper or steel wool. Good luck
