There is a knob on the gas valve and it should be turned to pilot. Then press down and lite pilot and hold for one minute. When you release the pilot hold button the pilot should stay lit and if not you have a bad thermocouple and it will need to be replaced. If the pilot stays lit turn valve to on and the furnace will fire up.
If the almost identical instructions I posted last night aren't working, you must have another problem. Last night you said you had the problem fixed. Check the gas valve outside the furnace. Usually they are very stiff and not subject to accidental closing. There are different styles, but they have the handle parallel to the gas line in the open position. Do you have any other gas appliances and are they getting gas? If you are still having problems, post back with the details.
