Capacitor where do the wires connect on the herm, fan c
I have a goodman 2 ton heat pump unit the ground wire in the main breaker box came loose and shorted out I thought the fan motor was bad so I replaced it the fan motor want come on so I looked at the capacitor it was burnt, so I purchased a new one but forget where the wires wer attached
I need to know where to hook the yellow brown and two reds |

You`ll have to trace where each wire comes from,, look at the diagram pasted to inside of the componate cover,, I`m thinking from memory the 2 red wires go to the common (C) post the other 1 one comes from the fan,, and other from the compressor,, but,but You need to look on the side of the new motor as newer motors most of times need a different sized capicitor if this is so you will need to buy a smaller capicitor for the fan motor only and the new bigger one will be for compressor only |
