Burnt wires at the Run Capacitor
I noticed their was no hot air coming through my vents I checked the run capacitor and noticed the wires where burnt off one prong so I spliced the and reconnected. That worked fine for a week or so , this time two wires where burnt so I repeated the process and automatically the connection started smoking what gives?

You have a high current draw item in the unit causing the terminals to burn OR you have a bunch of loose connections in the unit causing high heat in the terminal areas. A tool called a amprobe is good to tell if the current draw is within specs.
