Bryant Rooftop hvac unit not cycling properly

I Have an older [`93] Bryant 6-ton rooftop unit model 580c that will run for a few minutes... shut off but will NOT "cycle" back on for heat. You would have to "re-set" by powering off/on at the breaker panel. I am getting a "CODE #6 Inducer Motor Fault" even though motor seems to be functioning [spinning] ok. It looks as maybe a rollout switch is connected to motor assembly?? Could that be the problem as one was replaced last year &/or should the inducer motor get replaced anyway.

The inducer is fitted with a centrifugal end switch to verify inducer operation to the control system. The motor might run just fine, but if the switch is bad, the control will assume that the inducer isn't running and produce the fault code you are experiencing. Last time I checked, the switch is not made available as a separate component from the inducer assembly. There are a few variations of this model regarding other safety devices in the same circuit, so check the wiring diagram for other possibilities before replacing the inducer. Warranty may apply if the part is less than 1 year old.
