Bryant Model 350MAV Furnace

Asked May 12, 2008, 01:08 PM — 3 Answers
Hi, I recently had a furnace repairman in who told me our inducer on our Bryant Model 350MAV furnace needed to be replaced. He said the total cost would be $1075.00, including $890.00 for the inducer. This seemed high to me. Can anyone give me an idea of what this repair should have cost, please? Perhaps, I am just naive but I am ready to replace it myself. Is this a difficult or dangerous repair to make? Thanks for any and all info.

Thanks! This is a big help and I appreciate it. We don't have $1000 to spend on this repair and this solution makes it affordable. I will throw the circuit broker for the furnace. Should I cut off the gas, also?

Really no need to cut off the gas because the gas cannot come on without the electric being on. Follow directions exactly. This should save you big time on the costs to repair your furnace.
