    Bryant furnace keeps cycling on
I have a Bryant Legacy plus 90 furnace that is about 2 & 1/2 years old. The furnace will kick on and run till the temp on the thermostat is reached, it then shuts down but will immediately start back up again and continue to cycle like this 5 or 6 times until I adjust the thermostat down a degree or 2. When the furnace kicks back on it will do the same thing all over again. Could this be a faulty thermostat?? Help!!

    It could be a thermostat.
It sounds like the blower on the furnace is just turning back on to get rid of residual heat left in the heat exchanger.

    Is your air filter clean?

I did just put a new filter in today, but I do usually change the filter about every 3 months. This thing is weird, it does work fine during the day and malfunctions in the early morning when the temps are the coldest. It is working fine now and the outside temp is about 40 degrees. Very temperamental, the thermostat is set at 69 degrees now. All is currently OK.
