blower not working and the transformer makes noises

i have a heat pump and the blower is not working but it moves freely and when i turn the temperature up the blower doesnt move but the transformer makes noises and then stops but nothing is workin, if anyone has any idea let me know... thanks

change ur transformer make sure to get the right kind. it could have also shot your blower as well so you may want to check that after you change the trans.

does your motor have a capacitor? If so, i would start by taking it to a heating specialist, or electical specialist, and have them check it to see if it is good. They should do this for free, will only take a minute.(as long as you take it to them, and dont have them come to you.)

If you have a multimeter, you can check it yourself. Let me know if you have a meter, and i will tell you how to test.
