How to change my av transformer located in my attic

most transformers you buy from a local hvac supplier will be universal (115volts or 230volts) If you have a furnace you wire for 115v or fan coil electric heat 230v. On the side of the transformer it will give you the color code for line voltage and the colors for low voltage. Just make sure its at least a 30va transformer.
