My air conditioning is not cooling the house. 98 degrees in house. what's wrong?

My son is diabled and must sleep with the windows closed because he has severe asthma. Will Social Security pay for air conditioning in his home?

AC unit is blowing cold air but thermostat is still staying above 80, even though it is set on 70.

My air conditioning unit will not cool the house & makes extremely loud banging & screeching noises when it's running. What could be possible causes for this? Just a quick question.

Last fall when we last used the air conditioner it was working fine. This spring when I turned it on it no longer cooled the house. I had the fan replaced last summer and the condenser the summer before. What is likely to be happening here and what should I be checking?

Hi there: I have American Standard HEATING AND AIR , After set the temp, the heater is start running hot air, about 4-5 min is worm air, then become cold air and never stop, till manualy shot it off , keep blowing cold air , some one told me go and change the termostat controler but did not...
