air conditioner help

My Trane XR12 is running inside and outside but not cooling. The outside unit is blowing cool air not warm like it should.
I went out for dinner and the power to the house went out and turned back on while I was gone. And I noticed it was not cooling that night.
How do I fix this myself.

SO...you have Manifold guages...a leak detector....vacuum pump and knowledge to know how much of a charge it takes? And a license to buy the right refrigerant, and a scale that can measure it to a fraction of an ounce? Otherwise you are going to be calling a professional.
