Air conditioner blowing warm air

My air conditioner is blowing warm air out, I called a local heat and air repair and they changed out the condenser. That did not work. I was told that I would need to get a new condenser fan motor, because it was "locked up". My question is, if the condenser fan motor is locked up would it even blow anything out at all? Since it is warm air that is blowing is it something else wrong? I have a 2002 Goodman model CKL241D. Thank you for your help!!

I assume you ment to say they changed out the compressor and then found out the condenser fan motor was bad, this can happen that both go bad because a bad motor can cause the compressor to go bad.
They really should have checked the motor when they checked the compressor. The blower inside is not affected by the outside unit.
These parts should be under warranty. Good luck. Mike

I wish it was still under warranty, I called and they said it expired in January. I was told it would cost 750.00 to fix. Does this sound right?

Is that price for the compressor and fan motor including labor? If so then yes if sounds close. Call an authorized Goodman dealer and ask about warranty, I believe they have either a eight year or ten year all parts warranty. good luck, Mike
