Adjusted Limit Switch Now Blower Won't Turn On
I turned on the furnace for the first time last week and the blower woudn't turn off. I did some research on this site and upon investigation the limit tab setting was set at 150 and the "on" was all the way up to the limit tab at 150 as well. The "off" was set at 50 and I think that's why the blower wounldn't stop running. So I adjusted the "on" to 110 and the "off" to 90 and now the blower won't turn on. The furnace has an auto pilot light and I can see the burners are lit but the blower doesn't ever come on. It doesn't make sense to me that lowering the "on" temperature would result in the blower not coming on, especially when it was coming on when the temperature was set higher. Any suggestions? Do I need a new limit control?

Could be you have a defective blower control. That would answer the problem you were having in the beginning when it would not turn off.
