| Most roofs only leak when it is raining. If you have a sunny day drip, likely the condensate drain is plugged. Open the unit up and see if the pan is full and running over into the duct. Best thing is to blow air through the drain followed up by some bleach to kill the yuck that caused the stoppage. If the drain necks down to half inch and has too many elbows, you may want to look at replacing it with 3/4'' ID all the way. You can always clamp 1'' ID tubing over 3/4'' PVC and make large, sweeping turns less likely plug. |
