Ears are clogged with wax?

I was cleaning my ear today and I think the wax got stuck deeper inside instead of coming out. What can I do?

Many might say see a doctor.
I had something fall in my ear working under a trailer, could not get it out, A pharmacisist recommended, heating some virgin olive oil and putting in my ear, it loosend it up and came right out.

What helps me is having a heating pad and lay on it for 10-15 mins.
