pre exsisting conditions

Ok i have a question if i were to have an abnormal papsmear and never did anything about it and then i got insurance and got another one and it was abnormal and found out i had cancer would that be covered on my health insurance since it was not diagnosed before i got the insurance???

You ask a very good question. The answer may lay in the questions on your application for insurance, as to whether or not there was a preexisting condition or any deception on your part.

Was after your abnormal papsmear were you told to have some other test done. If you were told to have other treatment but did not have it, they could make the case it existed before.

Remember they may be looking for a way out, but also reemmber prexisting conditions are only for a specific time frame, normaly one year but will be written exactly in your policy.

Also most company group policies do not have pre existing conditions ( although some do)
In the end, all you can do is submit the bills and see if they contest any of the bills.

My personal guess, they will not say it is, but some companies look closer than others
