I am of couirse not a radiologist,

But they have to set exposure times, every patient has more or less dense and the timming is determined by thier thickness.

They have to find center points and measure and mark various areas of the patient to be filmed.

And I am sure in learning how the signals work, it is all math I bet.

I dont know that a radiologist uses math that much, but I am sure that during his 4 years of college studies, during his 4 yrs of med school, during his one yr of internship and during his at least one year of residency, he or she must be fairly well versed not only in math but also advanced similar disciplines such as calculus, chemistry. etc.
