My computer crash and when I tried to reboot, the computer I could not find the operating system. After alot of attempts to recover the operating system, I ended up buying a new operating system, (Windows XP). Which is what my computer had when I purchased it. It is a Sony PCV-RZ32G. After installing Windows XP, I booted up the computer. I discovered that my secondary drive was not visible. I have gone into the internet trying to find a solution, but everything that I have tried has not worked. The secondary drive is a Western Digital 2500 Caviar. I have a lot of files that I do not want to lose.

Can anyone help me with this problem. If you need more info, please let me know.
