    Cant load my os
My friend purchased a brand new hard disk of 80 gb . Thing is that I formatted and partition it in my system n copied few files to his hard disk . N when he went home n installed the hard disk in his system to load xp os . The bootable cd loads n when it says starting to load i.e before partitioning . A blue screen appears which says DISK IS UNMOUNTED 00000000000XXXXXOOXOX. And then restarts. Is this problem of hard drive or any bios problems or is it a os problem :(

What kind of drive is it? SATA? If its SATA then you may need to load SATA drivers, by pressing F6 when it asks you to load other drivers. Watch for it at the beginning of install.
