    My hair
I haven't dyed my hair in about 5mo or so. I was trying 2 let my roots grow out but I have so many different tones in my hair that I would love 2 get out. I have reds & a cooper tone. I want 2 go back 2 my natural hair color 4 now & later some time next year color my hair a lite caramel color. So what should I do 2 remove these different tones in my hair with less damage possible? Then after doing so would it be OK 2 lighten my hair next year on top of all that?? Please Help me I'm so Grrrr w/my hair & don't know what 2 do!!

If it's a red red then they will not be cancelled out by a toner, you will need to dye the red bits so they go orange, toner can then be on orange to get rid of the orange teddy tones, this will make it blonde, or even white blonde depending on how long you leave it. You didn't say what you're natural hair colour was by the way

I had natural mousey blonde hair, tried dying my hair red, but turned purple? [ 0 Answers ]

I actually really love the electric purple my hair has gone, but just wondered why it didn't go the red that I wanted?? I have put 2 of the same hair dyes in, the first one went pink, so went for the same colour thinking it would just go darker to the red that I wanted, but went purple?!

Black hair to lighter hair.this is a long story, take heed first time dyers! [ 2 Answers ]

Ok, here goes. I'm not a professional hair colourist, but I am a long standing veteran of home hair colour - I've had my hair all colours, all lengths, all styles and at the moment it's jet black. I've broken all the cardinal rules of hair colouring, and I can safely say that it's too much of a...
