    Going from blonde to dark golden blonde/light brown?
    Hiya,
    I have got blue eyes and olive skin, and blonde hair ( which is rather yellow) it has been highlighted before, but then had just a blonde colour put over it a while go. Anyway, I'm getting a bit fed up of the yellowy ness, and wanting to go dark blonde or light brown? First which do you think is best for my skin tone? 2) is it possible to go from blonde to light brown successfully with a home hair dye kit? I'm a broke student so a salon is a no no and plus I've had so many disasters with hair salons so don't want to go back!

    If I go dark blonde or light brown then can anyone recommend me a brand of hair dye and the name of the colour which I should use?

    I would try a 1 1/2 oz Ash (violet base) blonde and 1/2 oz neutral blonde deposit only toner formula. That should add a bit of needed depth and violet to tone the unwanted brass tones.
