    Semi-Permanent Hair Dye Removal
I dyed my hair with purple semi-permanent dye for Halloween and it has significantly faded, but has not completely gone away. I wouldn't mind this, except I have a small dilemma--my semi-formal dance is this next Saturday, and I don't want to be there with purple hair! How can I quickly remove this dye without using a color stripper?

If you apply a semi-permanent color to porous hair that has been chemically treated or blonde, the color may stain the hair and take a lot longer to wash out. Try using Prell or a clarifying shampoo with a few drops of dish detergent to help remove the color. But if it doesn't work, please go to the salon and get it fixed. The hairstylist may have to use a hair color removal product to strip the color.
