Olive oil on hair

Does anyone know if 100% olive oil is good to use for hair growth? A girl I went to school with uses the cooking olive oil on her and her daughter's hair and their hair as grown really fast.

I Don't Believe It Will Help It Grow "faster", But Couldn't Hurt I Suppose.

Olive oil does not make your hair grow. There is nothing that will make your hair grow faster. Hair grows at a maximum rate of half an inch per month no matter what you do.

a good grade olive oil treatment on hair is an excellent conditioner. I dont think it has anything to do with hair growth which I think is determined genetically. I have heard though that good protein and lots of green vegetables in a diet helps the hair grow.

Sea kelp is better and has great results - this can be purchased in tablet or syrup form and is taken one a day, also aids nail growth and strength excellent produt.
