    Med Red Hair to Med Golden Brown
    Hi,

    What is the best way to get Med. Golden Brown hair if my hair is Red without the color coming out color coming out orange? Would it be necessary to strip the red out first?

    To go from red to golden brown, you will need to choose a brown hair color with an ash/gold base. You can use a golden ash brown hair color with a 20-volume peroxide developer in equal parts to achieve your desried color. But remember that hair coloring products can bring out unpleasant colors. If possible, let a hairstylist color your hair.
