Highlighting Reddish/Brown hair.

Is there a product at a store like Walgreens or Target that I can buy to highlight my daughter's hair that will get rid of the red in her hair? The hairdressers keep saying it isn't red, but it is. So, I'd like to try a product at home. We've done highlights before, so I'd be willling to try highlights. Suggestions?

I remember your story about your daughter's hair. You can use an ash color with a green base to get rid of the unwanted hue. If you don't want the color to look too dark, look for a light ash brown or dark ash blonde hair color and apply it over the highlights to neutralize the red tones.

You will find ash hair coloring products in drug stores, such as Walgreens or Rite Aid.
