Help me get my yuk dyed hair to a nice color!

I used to be blonde, and recently i went to the hair dresses to fix my regrowth, i told her i would like to get my colour changed just a lil bit so i wouldn't have to keep coming back to get it fixed, like go light brown or something. Anyway i came out with red hair and it is horrible!!!!! i cryed my lil eyes out! so i was wondering if anyone knows how i could fade it quick or be able to change it to a light brown before i have to go back to school!!!! i also have a formal coming up in two months and i scared it will still be yuk by then!!! please some1 help!

Dont't try ro fade it, it will go more orange, go back to the hairstylist, she will fix it, with a color or toner to neutralize the red, she WILL remove the red tones in it. Don't try it yourself, it could be a disaster.

I agree with only4beauty. Do not attempt to do it yourself. Please go back to the salon and have them do a corrective color on your hair. Most salons will fix their clients hair free of charge if they are unsatisfied with the results. If your hair is more orange than red, the stylist will use a blue-base hair color product to help neutralize orange in the hair. But if your hair has a red cast, then they will use a green-base color to neutralize the red tones. Since your new color is more red than light brown, the stylist might use a light ash brown color with a green-base to achieve the color you desire.
