Hair spray.

I have some questions about hairspray I currently have this Thaft 4 weather hairspray strength 3(the green one) and I find it's smell quite disturbing. I like to put lots of hairspray on my hair since I dont feel really confident about it/I'm concerned that people near me can smell the hairspray and I don't want to smell like that So is there a hairspray out there that doesn't have any smell at all?
I also don't know if putting lots of hairspray on my hair is healthy for my hair?

Thanks for your answers!
Best Regards

I HATE hairspray. When I need to use some I use mens because it isn't sticky or stinky.

One of the ones I use is Consort.

EDIT
I remembered the name of the other hair spray for men is The Dry Look by Gillette.

88sunflower agrees: Educational for me. I had no idea there was mens hairspray.

Well I actually am a man I didn't know there are such thing as men hairsprays. I might check them out So what they do is not glue your hair together and stuff? - That would be awesome. I hate it when my hair is all glued up but it's the only way to keep your hair in place. If this hairspray would work it would be great

ICK. Hairspray just the thought of it makes me cringe.

Why not switch to mouse or gel or hair paste?

Just a thought...

Well I also have longer hair and have to use hairspray. Even when I leave it as a straight style, I still have to spray it. Its just the way it is. I use Rave right now. But when wet it has an odor. But spraying it and during the day I dont smell anything. Its been working ok for me.
