Hair dye problem

Hello,

I used a home hair dye kit yesterday with a highlighter kit included. I chose a colour not too darker from my original light brown. I am happy with the base colour but the highlight cream which I put on after has turned parts of hair hair that were lighter before a gingery colour! Is there anything I can do to rectify this. Is re-dying an option so soon after?

You could try to not colour your hair at all:
Being natural is being beautiful

If your hair is in good condition, you can re-color your hair.
