If you want to go from blonde to a decent brown color, it will require a 2 step coloring process. Blonde hair has no pigment in it, and if you pour a box of brown color over it, you will end up with unwanted shades. You would need to apply a red color to your hair and then color if brown in order to go from blonde to brown.
The hairstylist will mix a red-base hair color poduct to counter-act the green cast in your hair. If you want to go back to being blonde, they will need to strip your hair, and apply a toner to achieve the color you want. |
