| If you want to go from dark to blonde, a double process is required. When hair is bleached it goes through different stages of lightening. It goes from dark black, to dark reddish brown, to medium reddish brown, to reddish brown, to light orange red, to gold orange, to gold, to light gold, to yellow, to pale yellow blond, to palest yellow blond. Since you want to go blonde, your hair has to bleached to a yellow stage, then a toner is used to give you your desired color. Double Process (bleaching and toning) should never be attempted at home. This process should be done by a professional hairstylist. |
