My Hair Color Glaze Is DARK

I naturally have (had) fine dirty blond hair that lightens up a lot on its own in the summer sun. I had a professional highlight my hair to even the tone between my natural color and the summer sun color. However, the second time I had it highlighted she totally changed the color to a yellow/white, which took place about one month ago. Today, I went to another professional and they suggested a color glaze to tone me back to my natural color, which sounded great. I am now the owner of medium/dark brown colored hair. Overall my hair is healthy and I don’t want to damage it. What can I do to get my natural color back??? Please help!

If you want to go from brown to dirty blonde, you will need to lighten your hair with bleach and then apply your desired color. Remember that bleaching will damage your hair if it's not done correctly. I recommend that you let a professional do the coloring process for you.

Thank you for your response. Today, I decided to visit a new professional so they could hear to my story and see first hand what my hair looked like. I took an old photo of my natural hair color for reference and we decided to add a few non-chunky highlights. Mush better! He said, that the color glaze would fade, which should bring my color closer to its natural color. I guess in the end, we all find a 1st time and the last time for everything! Again, thank you for your time and your response.
