    Growing out grey hair
I am 61 and have been colouring my hair for several years. I want to let the natural grey grow in. The colour I have been using on my hair is a lighter reddish-brown than my natural hair colour. My hair is medium length (above my shoulders) and wavy with a tendency to frizz. I have read that using low lights will help during the transition but I don't think it will work for me because of the difference between my natural colour (the hair that hasn't turned grey yet is medium-dark brown) and the hair colour I have been using (medium brown that turns reddish brown on my hair). Would highlights help me make the transition to my natural colour? Does anyone have another suggestion? I don't want to cut my hair short! Thanks

This is just a suggestion (it's what my aunt did). She went to a prefessional and had them color ONLY the part that still had hair color on it to her natural color. Then, she put a few low lights in it where the natural hair was strating to grow, just enough to make it blend a bit, then she just let it grow out
