    Dark hair follicles?
My legs are dotted with little spots where the hair follicles are. I shave my legs, so I am guessing that the little spots is the hair below the skin surface in the follicle. Does waxing or epilating help at all? I am sort of under the assumption that if I remove the hair completely, I won't have all those little spots. I am also very light skinned, but have dark hair, so would tanning help to hide these little dots? II also have a lot of ingrown hairs around my knees, what is a good way to exfoliate those areas?

The spots may be the remaining hair stump of the dark hair follicle showing through your skin. You should try waxing Instead. It removes the hair from the root and leaves a smooth surface and the longest-lasting results. If you want to exfoliate your skin, try using an alpha hydroxy lotion. Alpha-hydroxy acids are use in topical skin care products to exfoliate, or slough away, dead skin cells and promote smoother, even-toned skin.
