Blonde hair to black?

Hi everyone! I would like to dye my hair black, just to try a change of things, but I am a natural dirty blonde. Would I be able to get my hair back to its natural shade eventually? I've been told that it would never go back by some, and the opposite by others. Any help? Thanks a bunch!

don't do it! Its the biggest pain the fanny to try to get back to your natural color. Pretty much the only way to get black out of your hair is to it professionally stripped then have a hairdresser apply color back to the hair. You will not be able to remove the black yourself without winding up with faded green hair (I've seen it - its not pretty).

I would recommend maybe trying another color - why not go all the way blonde?

glinda is right... there are ways to make ur hair back to its natural color.. but if you want to go darker.. go for a chocolate brown :] and it will look fine as ur natural hair color grows back in :]
