My name is destiny and I live in Florida... ive been trying to grow out my hair for the longest now.I used to braid my her in micro and over permed it wich caused a lot of hair damage. Lately I've being paying a lot of attention to my hair and trying to take care of it... I get professional perms and use dr.miracle and olive oil products wich have been helping")

There is nothing that will make your hair grow faster. Hair grows at a maximum rate of half an inch per month. It may grow faster or slower depending on genetics and your hormonal state. Chemical treatments such as perms can cause hair breakage when used over a period. Try not to use harsh chemicals or over perm your hair. If your hair is damaged, do a deep protein conditioning treatment until your hair is in a healthy state.

OK, I promised myself this would be the LAST question I answered tonight! Lolz Ok, your on the RIGHT track by getting micros! That's the key, leaving your hair alone, but your problem is your getting perms! Once you start getting micros, STOP perms. You can get your hair washed and conditioned, and then the micros, but when you get yoour hair braided and then permed, that's just TOO much stress on the hair. So, basic steps:
    1. Get your LAST perm before you get your micros or braids (only if you really need it.)

    2. Give your hair a rest in between micros too.

3.And make sure they are NOT too tight! That's the most important thing, if you take anything from this , MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT TOO TIGHT! (If you can't bend your head down, blink your eyes,or smile really hard)

Its good that you've started to take better care of your hair. Umm what I use now is a shampoo and conditioner calle Mane 'N Tale. Now I know this is supposedly for horses but it helps your hair a lot. On the back it even has directions for humans. As your hair grows this stuff will help it grow healthier and stonger. Then it will be harder for yoiur hair to break and it will grow better.
