| No such thing. There may be grants for specific goals that felons are not prohibited from getting. |

| Look, here's the simple fact that the government doesn't want you to know. They would prefer to warehouse people in prison than to see the normal person succeed. Deal with a parole officer sometime, he'd rather see you work 20 hrs a week at a fast food joint than to actually make something of yourself. If you succeed after getting out of prison, it's just a reminder to him that he's a putz working for the government in a dead end job. |

So, what is the source of what you've posted to prove it about warehousing people, and why would you think that being a parole office is a "dead end job", please?
The original poster asked about the availability of grants for convicted felons. Do you think there are any grants to help people like those to get "back on their feet", so to speak?
Thanks! |

| If you are truly interested you can apply for a PELL grant through your county. You have some hoop jumping to do to be eligible and get the money - BUT if you want to hoop jump the grant money is there. Contact your local jobs and family services agency and ask them about the PELL grants. |
