Universal Healthcare?

I posted this here because it effects us all and is a big election issue.
While the current US healthcare system is far from perfect, is Universal Healthcare the answer?

Americans Spend More on Health Care But Are Not Healthier

I think the govn't would be okay for evidence based preventitive care but would leave acute care to the free market.

What say you?

Mr. O'Reilly? Is that you???

I think the health care in the US needs reform, but I don't want the government to totally take it over. People complain about the profits that health care companies make, but that's the price you pay (pun intended) with a free market society. Despite what Michael Moore says, profit is not evil. I think some reforms need to be made to the existing programs, but I would not be happy if my only option was gubment care.
