Social security tax and Medicare

Hi,

This is Prakash Chitrakar from Northern Kentucky University. Currently I am working on Chartwell Dinning Service on campus. I am maintaining F1 visa status since I came here. They are taking social security and medicare tax from my pay check. Since I heard that F1visa status holders don't have to pay all these taxes. However, I had already talked with the manager, but they told me that F1 visa status holder also have have to pay these taxes. If I don't have to pay the taxes then why they are taking all those money out my paycheck. Is it possible to claim the social security and medicare taxes? If it possible then which form shall I use and where shall I claim? what are the procedures to claim?
