    Money for felons
    Is there any grants for felons trying to get there life together

    Yes and no, there is no grant that gives money to the felon, there is money given to half way houses and to some faith based programs that help with job training and placements,

    Also remember that when a felon is released from prison, they are commonly placed on parole. I was a parole and probation officer in MD for 7 years and can tell you that I had a long list of programs and agencies, public and private, that help these people fit back into society. I never heard of actual cash grants though, although it is the policy in this state to give a released prisoner a small amount of money as they walk out of the jail door, I don't recall what it is.
