    You won't be able to eat any broad leafed plants he go it on, because it will kill them. I specifically checked with Ortho on Round UP. They say it only kills plants you spray it on, not affecting the soil. I was concerned about damaging a tree, treating the lawn under it. Other herbicides may be more of a problem. The label on the bag of the specific material used will be a good source of info. Also there may be a telephone number or web site. I doubt there is much danger to you or anything not already growing.

    The ''lawn'' under the tree was mostly narwell and ground ivy. I planned to start over on grass.
