Interesting that your last name that you have given is also the name of a tree!

I don't know where you live. But, information contained in the following sites may be of help to you. I hope that it is.

I have a white oak tree in my back yard, last summer I noticed a seedling growing in my front shrubs, this year is it about 4 ft tall. I would like to move it out to my front yard, but dont want to get it out of where it is too early. I have the hard plastic edging right where its coming up, and the tree is leaning over. When can I move it, and when is the best time to do it. Will I need a rootball or no.
Thanks ahead of time!!! We live in south centeral Tennessee.
