How do I set the station on a Hardie HR-6100 irrigation system?
The technical writer who composed the instruction manual didn't bother to tell how one sets the station before attempting manual watering. Can anybody tell me how to select the station?

Hi! mistergfe, and welcome to AMHD :)

Is this the Guide that you have?https://www.lawngeniestore.com/Comer...ls/HR-6100.pdf

It shows manual or semi-manual on the guides pg9 or PDF 6/7.

Yes, that's the manual, but it just says "TO TURN A STATION ON:
    1. Set the Function Dial to the desired station number."

If you look at the graphic of the dials, you'll see that there is no "Station" option; however, I've since figured out that the six settings in the "Run Times" area on the right apply to the different watering stations. The tech writer didn't make that clear, but when I discovered there were six watering stations, I deduced that each setting must be linked to a station. (I'm not the owner of this house, and whoever hand-labeled the card inside the unit only listed three stations, not six, hence the confusion.) Thanks for taking the time to reply -- it helped a lot.

How do you turn off just one station? I have read the instruction manual and have done as it instructs to do --- but it absolutely won't turn off. I tried to set the watering time down to 1 minute (next best alternative) for that particular station, but that doesn't work either!! It will go down to 1 minute, then pops right back up to the original 10 minutes.
Please help! I want to tear my hair out - this is SO maddening!! I have a new tree planted in the middle of this particular station and the nursery professional said to absolutely NOT let the sprinklers water the tree.
    Help!!
