    How to drain fuel system of featherlite weed eater?
    Hey Guys I'm new at this so bear with me.

    I have a featherlite weed eater which I tried to start.
    It only stays running for a minute or so when I have it strted on
    Full choke. When I go to half choke it shuts out immediately.

    Some one tells me that I have flood the system?
    How do I fix it??

    Could also be a dirty carb, or a bad diaphram. But one simple way to clear the engine after flooding is to remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug and briskly pull the pull rope three to five times. Then put the spark plug wire back on and try and start the engine.
