Dracaena Fragrans.

Hello,
So my mom gave me this plant and it looks like a Dracaena Fragrans, problem is, she thought the leaves were dying so she cut them off! and since then it hasnt grown leaves... it has a little coiled up leave that just wont uncoil (maybe the wrong word to use..), but anyways anything i can do to make it grow leaves?

A plant without leaves is a really sick plant, emily. Might as well give it a decent burial.

Or just put it off to the side and forget about it for a while, see what happens. Sometimes you will be amazed.

You say the leaves had turned brown before they were taken off? Dracaena Fragrans' leaves turn brown if the soil is too moist or too dry... sometimes putting a plant to the side for a little while like Dahlia said it will come back.. Dracaena Fragrans are a medium ammount watering plant that doesnt require heavy watering.

note: Over time, these plants lose lower leaves revealing bare stems. Fragrant, tiny white-yellow flowers in round heads appear in terminal panicles in winter-spring. Flowers are followed by red berries. Flowers and berries rarely appear on indoor plants.

tickle agrees: yes, all draceanas do not require a lot of water and can actually go for weeks
