Wii reallly dangerous

HI this is silly but i tend to worry over my children i have purchesed a wii and read the mauel inside that said about the radiation is the radiation that bad it could be deadly

No, the radiation they refer to is that from the laser.

This is the same as with any appliance that uses a laser to read a disc (CD player, DVD player) you are under no risk of harm what so ever so long as you do not attempt to dismantle the laser unit within the Wii!

Which I'm sure your kids won't do, if I had a Wii I wouldn't and don't think I could if did!

do you let them use mobile phones?

radiations from these electronic equipments are so negligible that its hardly noticable.

but on the other hand, they put these warnings so that if something happens from some other source, one cannot file a law suit against them.

There is minimal radiation and is smaller than even lets off less radiation than having an xray taken. A LOT of items have radiation including video games, cell phone, microwave, and MANY other items. The radiation is very minimal but they do mention it on some items.
