| Side scroller arcade game. I used to play this in the arcade in the early 90's in Bridgeport, Chicago. It is a 2D side scroller of this guy trying to save his girlfriend/princess. It's kinda looks like an anime with graphics better than original super mario bros. He can run, jump, and throw a fireball that lands in front of him. It's not your tradition sidescroller in that the also scroll up & down and right to left. It is NOT a Mario game. I played this in a cardshop (Paul Shop?). The only other thing I can remember is that one secret would have you stand in front of a pool of lava, but the first "square/area you fit in" is fake lava, and you can drop in for power up/item/points. I think there were some platforms moving left and right for you to jump on. I know this is vague info, but just hoping maybe someone remembers.
