Playstation 3 with Guitar Hero II
I recently purchased a Playstation 3 (60 gig) system. When I first brought it home, I tested it with Guitar Hero II. It worked.
Next I purchased ROck Band. It said it had to update in order to use the disc. So I updated the system.
Now it no longer plays Guitar Hero II.
Can I get Playstation 3 to accept both Rock Band and Guitar Hero II?
How?

that doesnt make sense....ps3 and xbox dont update thereself for playing a game....u put the disk in it and it plays it........its not a pc ..no need t be updated

There is a problem with the latest firmware update:
Technology News: Gaming: Sony Pulls Update Following PS3 Firmware Fiasco
Perhaps that is what is affecting you.

realy your problem is that when you up date it it has to specificly ps3 games i had that problem to but mine kept freezing when i put a ps2 game in so i stoped puting ps2 games and only put in ps3 game
